TCS 16 Orange CTPL Tournament 1

Last weekend, our TCS Volleyball teams experienced some milestone wins!

All of our teams competed in the first of three tournaments in the Central Texas Power League Series.

Our 16s Orange team won their pool in tournament play to secure second place seeding for the next tournament. Most of the athletes on this team have been playing with TCS for the past three club seasons; it was wonderful to see how far they have come, as athletes and young women, and to secure this team victory.

The Central TX Power League was the second tournament for our 12s team, and they won their FIRST game! They won one game and came close to winning a second, before losing their third game. This is a huge milestone for them, as they are our youngest and newest athletes.

This was the first tournament for both of our 15s teams and they powered through wins and losses- both of which are important for team building and highlighting strengths and weaknesses. Our 15s Orange team claimed their first win of the season! Our 15s Teal team has taken their losses and returned to practice with a renewed focus and determination to work on their weaknesses.

As always, with TCS Volleyball, we have a lot on-the-go. We would be blessed by your prayers and support wit the following upcoming events:

  • Player Sponsors: We are in need of several individuals or families to financially come alongside our athletes who have applied for financial scholarships this season. Please contact us if you’re interested in supporting one of our athletes!
  • We’re throwing a Valentine’s Day celebration for 15s and 16s teams. Our goal is to build stronger relationships between our teams and more importantly, for our athletes to know and experience God’s perfect love for them.
